Loid T-11 is a plasticised Coal Tar enamel being widely accepted as one of the most effective and economical anti-corrosion protection materials for subterranean and submarine cross-country pipelines and penstock pipe protection in hydroelectric projects, both for insides of penstock and outer parts of penstock buried underground. It serves as the most effective measure against corrosion and deterioration due to rusting. It protects the pipelines against such losses and hence considered a protection on national assets.
OUTSTANDING FEATURES

Coal Tar enamel, when used in conjuction with coal tar & synthetic primer, ensures quality field of corrosion for all kinds of pipelines and is the first choice in the field of corrosin protection due to the following qualities:

  • Excellent ease of application
  • Resistance to cold flow
  • Extremely low water absorption
  • Excellent chemical stability
  • High electrical sensitivity
  • Good resistance to impact during backfill
  • Resistance to soil stress
  • Flexibility
  • Temperatures susceptibility
  • Resistance to soil bacteria and marine organisms.
